I pitched a campaign idea for social that would take advantage of crowd sourced content from PRWeb users. The concept was, if PRweb is the #1 news release service and is designed to make your business #1 in search, what is unique and #1 about the businesses that use it?
What we discovered was amazing. Our users had a blast providing their own shoutout and really had fun with it. Some were playful, some were serious but it really brought a unique human touch to a software platform designed to create and store press releases!
We used our next trade show as a way to capture this content at minimal cost but yielded great returns in social engagement. I wanted to use a style that was similar to how we already treated zinger graphics in social and other web campaigns (arms holding up signs with hand written zingers on an orange background).
